Okay, so...I had to get it out of my system. Beauty and the Beast is my all time fave disney movie, even over the lion king. Every year around this time I get all nastolgic over it and doing a bit of art tends to help. Woot.

Anywho, I totaly had Phantom of the opera up in the background while I was working on this. totally fits:

Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams,
Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before,
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar,
and you'll live as you've never lived before...

and so on.

*Edit*...yes...I KNOW the Beast has claws. my not including them in this piece is what you call an "Artistic decision". Artist do that. We have the power....like He-man but less stupid. So please, no more comments just about his lack of claw.
